День начинается с трансфера из отеля — для гостей в пределах Третьего кольца Сиань (в обычные дни, не в государственные праздники). Около 8:30 группа прибывает на Северную площадь у пагоды Большого гуся — по словам источника, крупнейшую в Азии площадь с музыкальным фонтаном. Здесь открывается вид на саму пагоду, возведённую и курировавшуюся монахом Сюаньцзаном в эпоху Тан для хранения буддийских писаний, привезённых из Индии. Далее — визит в Храм Большого Ци-эн, тысячелетний королевский монастырь, где находится пагода. Каждому участнику, входящему на территорию храма, выдаётся благопожелательная карточка.
