Description

- Itinerary Introduction - Silver Mine Hot Spring: Ginzan Onsen is a nostalgic Japanese hot spring village where time seems to have stood still. Wooden inns are scattered along the Ginzan River, and the winter snow scene with warm yellow lights is especially romantic, like a scene from a movie. You can enjoy open-air hot springs and private baths, as well as stroll through the ancient streets in yukata, deeply experiencing Taisho romance and traditional Japanese hot spring culture. Zao Snow Monsters: The ice monster phenomenon in the Zao mountain area is one of Japan's best winter views, and is often most magnificent from January to February. Cold winds and snow fog interact with coniferous trees to form monster-like ice and snow shapes. Take the cable car to the高原 Station and stroll around, and you'll feel like you've entered a mysterious snow country in the white world. Zao Onsen Street: Zao Onsen is located on the mountainside of the Zao Mountain Range at an altitude of approximately 900 meters. It has a history of over 1,000 years. The hot spring street is centered on "Takatayu Street". Traditional inns, communal bathhouses, foot baths, and long-established restaurants gather on both sides of the stone-paved road. It is filled with the aroma of sulfur and steaming hot water, showing the nostalgic Showa hot spring street style. It is suitable for strolling around while looking for local delicacies and souvenirs. Zao Okama Crater Lake: Zao Okama Crater Lake is a symbolic circular crater lake of the Zao Mountain Range. It is named for its shape resembling a pot used for cooking rice. Because the lake water changes color with the seasons and weather, showing shades of green, blue, emerald, etc., it is known as the "Five Color Pond". It is available for a limited time from April to November each year. You can climb to the summit of Mount Katta or the Okumiya of Katta Peak Shrine to overlook the entire crater lake and the majestic mountain ridge.
